Intended use


FCoV Ag Rapid Kit is a chromatographic immunoassay for the detection of Feline coronavirus (FCoV) in feline feces.



Test principle


Rapid immunochromatographic assay technique for the detection of feline coronavirus antigen. A sample obtained from cat feces is added to the spiking well and then moved along the chromatographic membrane with a colloidal gold labeled anti-FCoV monoclonal antibody. If FCoV antigen is present in the sample, it binds to the antibody on the detection line (T) and appears in burgundy color. If FCoV antigen is not present in the sample, no color reaction occurs.
