Human chorionic gonadotropin
β-HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a glycoprotein secreted by trophoblast cells of the placenta. Early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy is mainly the detection of blood HCG (chorionic gonadotropin). Normal human β-HCG human chorionic gonadotropin content of about 0-3mIU / ml.
Blood β-HCG ratio can be used as indicators of intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy and pregnancy failure; β-HCG ratio <0.81 patients with a high probability of failure of pregnancy, the ratio of patients with a greater than 1.68 intrauterine pregnancy is more likely.
